Just a brief history for the newer members of the club who might not be aware. The Armada has been an annual cruise in company, mainly of PASC members which was started around 20 years ago by Tony & Julie Peak along with a group of like-minded cruisers. The cruise’s normal destination is Kangaroo Island, around Eastern & Western coves & back home via the Yorke Peninsula.

The Armada is not an official PASC club cruise or event. Its main purpose is to give people who want to, the opportunity to sail in company with other cruisers. You can start & finish, come & go as you please & hopefully have some fun & good sailing along the way. The sole responsibility & liability of each boat that participates in the Armada falls back on the individual skipper.

A meeting was held on Friday 9th February to gauge if members were interested in the Armada for this year & if so, to select a starting date. The meeting was well attended & after much deliberation a start date of the 18th March was chosen, weather dependant of course, with a fleet of around 8 to 10 boats expressing their interest at this stage.
